Staff and pupils at Coltness High School went all out to celebrate languages!
A range of activities were organised by staff in the Languages Faculty from 18-22nd September to encourage pupils to consider the importance of languages in the everyday and working lives of those in their community.
Throughout the week pupils tasted international cuisine in the school canteen, bought and wore multilingual love bands, took part in an S1 Poetry Slam and enjoyed world language taster lessons in Spanish, Italian, Arabic, Mandarin and Japanese.
Pupils even had the opportunity to meet representatives from the CHS Careers services, Japan Desk Scotland, China Dream Mandarin School, SCILT, Global Language Services and the Alliance Française.
Many thanks to all of the staff, ex-pupils and visitors who contributed to the success of this great event!
